Flight 827

It’s 2:45, the flight from LA to Oakland has been delayed for an hour. How long will I be stuck there ? I dunno, but I can’t just wait around. What if I never get to leave ? How will I survive at the airport ?
I looked around, there was just one guy who looked like as if he might pose a threat. The rest were just soft sales people who hadn’t worked out in ages. There was a garden area where I could go native, the bushes and shrubs could provide the necessary material to make my own bow and arrow and live off the land.
I started to look around, the other passangers were backing off a bit, perhapse realizing their futur leader ? Yes that must be it.
I finally got out at 4:40, What would you do if you were stuck at the airport ?

online comics

I started reading comics at an early age with a farsi translation of Tintin. Tintin has been translated into more 50 languages so far. Of course it helped that my dad absolutely hated him, to this day his dislike of my comic book hero is legendary around the house.
Fast forward 10 years in my second year of college I decided to start buying Marvel and DC comics. The idea of lugging around all those comics made me stop after about a year, and that’s when I discovered online comics.
Now you might think of online comics as just a representation of your regular Sunday morning comics. And while Dilbert and company are living happily over at comics.com. There are a lot of non traditional comics out there.
Some of those comics are purely for the gamer in us, you know the guy/gal who would never put down the Atari or the Nintendo. Penny-arcade is a good example. While other comics adopt a more manga style of art. MegaTokyo is the leader in that genre. But some other comics like Sexy Losers push the envelopein a vastly different location. So brush off your mouse, head over to OCAD or KeenSpace or Belfry and read a comic, there are a lot of crappy comics out there so a good way of finding more good comics is to look at what that artist reads, that usually gives you a link to the better comics out there. I hope that you’ll enjoy comics as much as I have.

happiness

It’s amazing how the little things in life make you happy. When you are a kid you are never happier than when you get a present or get to play with your friends. As you grow up that happiness changes to a raise, new significant other, or again presents. Yeah I know it’s not Monday I just said there would be a new post every Monday not that I would only post on Mondays ;) . Anyways it’s my website and I can post whenever I want to. It seems that I am infecting everyone to start a blog, in the last few days both Tina and Wenyu have started their own blogs. Which I think is a good thing. I wonder if that makes them happy ?

caramel

Posted by asad | Stories | Monday 16 June 2003 1:27 pm

O how I love the sweet caramel taste. You know caramel is nothing more than burnt sugar, that’s right all this time you have been eating well done sugar and thinking how good it was.
But how can anyone resist the sweet taste of caramel, it sticks to the roof of your mouth and releases such nice endorphines. Instead of torture I predict that future rulers of earth will use caramel to keep the population under control.
Don’t you want to just put a small piece of caramel in your mouth, let it gently melt on your tongue, while sucking the sweet juices out of it.
But caramel can also be mean, just the other day I couldn’t get a piece out of its wrapping, I think it was just playing coy, but really I was suprised. We have been together for so long, I think it’s a bit unfair for the caramel to start holding out now.
I think it’s time to spice up my relationship with caramel though, maybe add in some pop corn or something else. What do you think ?

there are 2 for every one of us

They are imprisoned in wire and cloth, sometimes forced into strange and unnatural shapes. They yearn to breath free but their locks are small and full of moths. Some are big and some are small but all are loved by us all.
Sometimes they are helped a bit by a scalpel and a bag but don’t you know they always look perfectly set to us? As the man with the knife pushes and prods and moves them around, we beg and plead, “They look great leave them be.”
Maxim and Cosmo have won that battle so we’ll just sit back and wonder. Whatever happened before they were rend a sunder?
Don’t you know small or big we’re always happy to sit back and be a pig.
